Halo is a first person shooter game that takes place 500 years in the future. You are a genetically modified super soldier that fights the alien alliance called the Covenant. You and your AI Cortana fight the Covenant, Flood, Insurrectionists, and more. Even when the Covenant invade Earth Master Chief is there to protect Earth.

Halo is one of the biggest gaming franchises of all time. Especially since it is a Xbox only game. Halo 3 is one of the most sold games ever.

The multiplayer in the Halo games was revolutionary. Halo 2 basically launched Xbox Live. All FPS (first person shooter) games have been influenced by Halo 1. Halo will always have a place in my heart as one of my favorite games of all time.
